baaratBaaratIn her first Manchaha carpet, "Baarat" (Wedding Procession), Priyanka has captured a momentous occasion in a person's life - the wedding. She beautifully captured the excitement and love of a village wedding in her work by sharing a heartwarming message of how the entire village gets involved in a marriage, from preparations to celebrations! Priyanka's favorite part of the wedding is the procession, where the groom rides on a horse, and the family dances around to reach the wedding destination. Her piece is full of bright and festive colors, capturing the beautiful lights and chandeliers accompanying the procession. While working on her Manchaha, her neighbors would often peek into her loom and were thrilled when Priyanka shared her inspiration for the carpet. That is how her loom, too, became a part of the wedding season.
