Anokhi Every carpet has a unique story behind it and there is this rug which our weavers called “unique”- The Anokha Manchaha!. “Anokhi” is a hand-knotted rug weaved by the friends duo - Gothi and Gudiya Devi. They took one whole year to complete this rug! This carpet is their first of Manchaha. They began the work with the confusion of what to weave and what not to. They decided to weave whatever they wanted without a prior plan. They began with an abstract but later decided to work on the minute details and designs. They weaved in some complicated designs inspired by ‘jhoomar’ and from a beautiful ‘odhani’ (a traditional head drape). They also brought in flowers, leaves, and plants on the hand-knotted rug. Inside some particular flowers, they have weaved birds adding more beauty to the carpet. These minute intricacies explain to us why the carpet is called ‘unique’ - it surely is one of a kind.

- DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
- Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
- If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
