fridge ki bottleFridge ki BottleHow often do you drink water from the fridge and think of creating art out of it? As the summers hit, bottles are filled, fridges are full. It is amazing how a bottle from the fridge can inspire the artisans. Suguna and Pooja creatively named their hand-knotted rug “Fridge ki Bottle” as in “Fridge’s Bottle.” They have weaved classic “Lehereiya” designs on most of the carpet. They changed the design according to their wish. There is a design of slant lines that resemble the railing of stairs. There are “Shakkarpara” (squared Indian sweet snack) designs along with stars. This eclectic mix transforms their creation into a uniquely refreshing piece. In essence, this "cool" carpet not only captures the essence of summer refreshment but also celebrates the imaginative spirit that turns everyday moments into art.
