besan chikkihansa and savitri’s love for sweet delights have inspired them to design their favourite sweet item on their rug. they chose to call this rug “besan chikki” which is a traditional sweet dish made with gram flour and caramel. all throughout the rug, in various shapes and colours, the weavers have designed the candy bar. shakarparas and little boxes also fill the rug and harmonise with the theme of the carpet.
