The Design Story
jaadui jangalJaadui JangalSurji named her Manchaha ‘Jaadui Jangal’ which in Hindi, means ‘Magical forest’. This carpet is her imagination of an enchanted forest where she has woven a unique variety of flora and fauna. There are lions, goats, birds, fishes and also dinosaurs that are living peacefully in separate regions of the forest. Taking inspiration from her favorite red rose flower, she has designed the forest with the shades of red. Numerous creepers can also be seen crawling across the forest.
