The Design Story
khushiKhushiThis Manchaha is a vibrant reflection of Manju's happiness, having conquered her self-doubts. She weaved this manchaha with a positive attitude as she set out to weave an intricate design, unsure of its outcome until the end. Throughout her weaving journey, her pillar of support, her husband, stood by her side, providing an appreciation for her work. Her husband works at a garment store. He used to observe patterns on the clothes everyday and used to suggest some of it to Manju after coming back home everyday. This reflects how supportive he is as a partner. This encouragement fuelled Manju's passion, and she poured her heart and soul into creating a masterpiece brimming with happiness. As the carpet neared completion, the anticipation and excitement grew within the weaver. And when she finally looked at the finished creation, a surge of disbelief and joy washed over her. She couldn't believe that it was her art piece. The beauty and artistry she had woven with her hands left her stunned and filled her heart with overwhelming joy as she called all her family members to show her "Khushi" (Happiness).
