Each compartment is filled with a bold diamond-shaped medallion, flanked by arrow-like extensions at the corners. The motifs, rendered in earthy reds, ivory, gold, and dark browns, give this a geometric rhythm. The borders are narrow and understated, defined by stepped edges that frame the repeated diamond devices. This rug reflects the Tajik tradition of strong geometry and color blocking, where diamonds and stepped forms symbolize protection and balance.
